Farm Market Garden

A farm market garden, also known as a market garden or market farm, is a type of farming operation that focuses on producing fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and other horticulture products for direct sale to consumers. It typically involves cultivating a variety of crops on a smaller scale, with an emphasis on quality, freshness, and sustainability.

Farm market gardens are often located in close proximity to urban or suburban areas, allowing for convenient access to customers. They may operate as standalone farms or as part of a larger agricultural enterprise. These farms often prioritize sustainable farming practices, including organic or natural methods, crop rotation, soil health management, and minimal use of pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.

The products grown in farm market gardens are typically sold directly to consumers through on-site farm stands, farmers’ markets, community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs, or through online platforms. By selling directly to consumers, farm market gardens can establish a direct connection with their customers, build relationships, and educate them about the food they grow.

Agri Therapy

Agri-therapy, also known as horticultural therapy, is a form of therapy that uses plants, gardening, and other agricultural activities to promote physical, emotional, and mental wellness. Agri-therapy offers a unique and holistic approach to wellness that combines the healing power of nature with the benefits of therapy. By engaging in these activities, individuals can not only improve their physical health, but also find a sense of peace and connection with the natural world.
